The 19" front wheel and alloy rims are the big difference, the X'll feel slightly sharper. That aside, the X doesn't have the adjustable suspension.
Yes. The 390 Adventure X will feel more comfortable, similar sized and has more performance by quite the margin. It's a great upgrade for a small jump in price.
No you can't. The cruise control system works with the IMU unit and that is not going to be possible to retrofit to the X.
The 390 Adventure X has dual-channel ABS and you can turn the rear ABS off if you need to.
The 390 Adventure X's rims are pretty strong so you can go quite far before the alloys become a problem. But if serious off-roading is the plan, consider the other model.
